Far Cry 3 blood dragon drops fps to 2 from 30??? Please Help!!!

Hello, i a have an athlon 64 x2 6000+ and an r7 240 2gb ddr3, and 550w psu and 6gbs or ddr2 ram, and when playing fc3 blood dragon, i run it at 30fps everything high, and dx11 mode, and my gpu doesnt eexceed 55 degrees, but it drops to 1.5-2 fps randomly? watch dogs does the same, but i alwa ys assumed that it was because it was a bad port. Please HElp!!!!

Biggest thing is that I'd check to see that nothing is running in the background eating up CPU cycles. That particular CPU is listed as their minimum requirement, so any resources you can free up will help tremendously. Suggestions to try would be to disable the antivirus while gaming as well as any other processes sitting the taskbar that aren't needed right then.
