so, by mobo got burnt and i initially thought it was the case. i got a replacement from gigabyte (nice people...sympathised with my plight) and i assembled it outside, but it still burnt. however i managed to shut it off quickly and thus, the damage wasen't very extensive and i was able to repeair the mobo myself. i started the mobo again with only the cpu and ram installed (smps was fine, id checked it with another computer) and the beep came from the speaker. then i installed the gpu again and it burns. also, should i ask powercolor, not only for a replace ment but for compensation (its a new build) ??

Sorry if this sounds obvious but you do have all the standoffs under the motherboard correct? The board is not touching the case? When you put the video card in the slot the board does not flex too much? This can damage it.
