Im in need of a PC used for CAD, Photoshop and the occasional gaming. I cant say for certain what kind of work load ill be doing on CAD and Photoshop but I need something that will last for a good year or two and perform fairly well.

I dont really have a huge budget per say but I just want some recommendations as what kind of system would be powerful enough. What components matter the most for PS and CAD? Assuming then more of the budget should be used on those.

Games I do play would be Payday, strategy games, DayZ Standalone (badly optimized) and possibly some Arma 3 in the future, all at 1080p.

Many thanks.

What's your budget that will give us a decent Idea for how good of a system you can put together. But from what you said I know you will probably be needing about 16Gb or ram depending on how big the projects you are going to be doing in CAD and Photoshop. Graphics side you'll probably want a card with 2Gb Of VRAM or above too.

At least 8 GB Ram, 16 Gb recommended.
For processor one of i5's.
Also, if possible, I would recommend simple SSD like Samsung 850 EVO [128 or 256 Gb].

In my opinion, graphics card could be bought after assembling PC. Something like R9 380/GTX960 would be enough.

Budget is hard to say as I live in South Africa and prices for PC components are extremely over priced. OS is already purchased and so is the monitor, all that is needed is the actual computer. Id say around $900-$1000 to be fair I guess.
