I have this laptop with windows 8, which i dislike. And now I want to install windows 7, and my choice of method is via booting from USB flash drive & thus far I'm just encountering problems.
I have burned my Windows 7 x64.iso though various booting tools (Rufus and Windows 7 DVD/USB Tool , and various settings (GBT partition scheme and MBR on a Fat32 format).
And in the BIOS Iv'e tried with UEFI enabled , secure boot disabled, changed boot order to boot from the USB and what happens is - it hangs on the 'starting windows' logo. And doesnt move from there.
Then I reboot, into bios, turn on legacy, disable network boot and try and boot from USB, then.. I get the message 'No bootable device found'
So i'm not quite sure what to do, would formatting the hardrive first do anything different?
Or trying to boot from a DVD?
