I can't read your mind, I dont know your PC habits, it takes a lot of effort to make a build, it's a learning experience, we're here to guide you, not do the work for you. If you dont like it, then you should re-evaluate your expectations. Asking me to build you a PC with x amount of money, I'll build what I'd want, what my needs are, not yours.

Do you have a monitor? Is it 4k? If not is it included in the price? Would you sacrifice a 10-20% FPS drop for major improvements in real world application performance, and/or longevity, power usage. stability, audio performance, etc.? Is noise a factor for you? What level of experience do you have building computers? Do you use any peripheral devices: card readers, dvd burners, etc.

Well do u want it to have a custom watercooling solution or just an all in one watercooling solution just for ur cpu? The budget includes peripherals? Do u want any specific color (black-red/black-yellow/white/black-white/black-blue...)or size (m-atx/itx/atx...)

There are a lot of issues with that build:

The DVD drive wouldn't fit into the case, it was also missing a 5.25" bay, so I switched it to a different case, a Corsair 300R.
The RAM was too high voltage, so I changed the RAM to be slightly slower.
I changed the PSU to something more realistic, nobody needs a 1000W PSU. If he really wants them, then by all means.

Alot of issues with this build? lol

The optical drive doesn't have to go inside the case. All you really need it for is to install the operating system. Plug it into your sata and power connector install the os and all of the drivers and software that you want, and unplug it and put it away for a rainy day. Because to be honest, how many people still use and optical drive anymore? The rams' high voltage can easily be tweaked in the bios. And while I DO agree that a 1000w psu isn't necessary for this build it was put on the list for the future. Maybe 2k or 4k monitor prices come down and he wants a tripple 2k or 4k set up. Well now your going to need the high power supply, maybe even higher.

Call me old fashioned, but I still have my optical drive inside my PC, it looks nicer with the drive in it. And he wanted about $2k for the build, both of ours went pretty over, so Im not sure he's worried about a 4k gaming setup.

You my sir are old fashioned. With that being said I prefer to have mine in my case also. If my next build wasn't going to be a mini-itx I would buy the Corsair 760t or 780t. And it was 2000-2500 so were pretty close I'd say. He's not giving us anything else to work with or what he wants, so we built what we wanted. And yeah with that budget he's not, I'm just really praying that they come out with panels that can produce 4k at 144hz and 1ms lag time. That way 2k 144hz monitors drop in price significantly.

Yeah, he hasn't responded, so there's no point in helping him if he's not even coming to talk about it or anything.
