Which I3. But its mostly gonna be a no. You should really contact tech support for this since they are always eager to sell a product they usually supply you with all the information. Some games which need cpu power might cause a bottleneck though i am not really sure which all.

I sow some old thread about i3 and 7870 bottleneck
An i3 will not bottleneck a 7870 XT, my r9 270x, which is about equal to a 7870 xt runs 100% fine on my i3, the gpu is still the bottleneck, my gpu is overclocked as well.
