As per your PM, the vendor page is useless for revision or bios version information. They never list that data there. You would need to either contact the sales department for verification of the exact sku number, and then reference that sku on the MSI website. Since you're looking at b&h photo, I'm assuming you're in the US in which case it's probably extremely unlikely to get an older revision as b&h is a high volume vendor and would only be likely to have newer stock or they'd ship directly from the manufacturer.

I wouldn't worry about the PCPartpicker flag in this case if you are in the USA. By now it's unlikely you would receive an older model regardless of your location outside the US, but IS still technically possible, which is...
It will be fine. Any 970 gaming board you are likely to buy at this late date almost certainly already has the correct bios version to support that chip unless you're in a less developed country and may be likely to get an older revision that's been sitting on a shelf for some time.

Do you know what revision the model is that you're looking at? What country are you in?

If you're in the US, UK, Canada or Australia, it almost certainly already supports it. Other countries may be hit or miss.
