Hey everyone, I've just thrown some new G.Skill Ripjaws into my pc that i'm upgrading. I've just looked at my performance tab on task manager and it's saying that 2GB's of it is cached for some reason...
I've looked on my brother's gaming pc and he also has 8gb of RAM, except his is only cacheing 400mb....

Also, incase this is part of the issue, my CPU is ultra outdated, it's a dual core phenom X2 555, pretty embarassing, I know, which is why I'll be upgrading that next.
