I've posted already 2 threads and I feel kinda being annoying but I just don't want to mess up my first PC build (im not from rich family to buy over n over again). i need to buy new CPU today for my new Mobo which is Asus B85M-G R2.0 . from this forum i found out that this Mobo May need Bios Update to support new Haswell refresh. though Bios update may require "old" haswell Cpu (which i don't have, i have Core2Duo now) in order to update. though there is Flash Back Feature which i can use to update my Bios Via Flash drive. on Mobo box is written that it has this feature, but on Intel website it says that it doesn't. i was planning to buy i5 4460. i just wanna know if Haswell Refresh worth buying? or should i buy i5 4430 (its not Haswell refresh as i know Right??)
or if u guys know better CPUs to buy Under 200$ feel free to type :) thank u in advance and sorry for bothering so much.

The haswell refresh updates have been out for a while.
If you buy the board from a vendor like newegg or amazon that has to refresh inventory regularly then you have a very very high probability of getting a board with newer bios on it. Other vendors with much slower turn-around that might have the motherboard on the shelf for the last 6-12 months would be a concern

ASUS boards allow you to use flash drive without a CPU to update bios, if this is a genuine concern then I would suggest you get an ASUS board.

so you suggest me to buy Regular Haswell in order to avoid Bios update (cuz i don't have any 1150 socket CPU) ?
its kinda hard to find correct list of Haswell refresh CPUs but as i got i5 4430 is Haswell (not refresh) ? correct me if im wrong :) if im right i will buy it cuz 100-200mhz difference wont make much (i was reading now). but if there are other features than that, let me know

well yes I bought my Mobo (Asus B85M-G R2.0) from amazon, n it was realized in 2014 but still I didn't want to risk :( or update bios ;x so I bought already (5 hours ago) Cpu which is Regular Haswell. i5 4430. price difference between this n 4460 was 5$ but 200Mhz wasn't big deal I think, I couldn't find additional info which Haswell Refresh gives
