Recently my pc started to overheat and i'm going to replace the thermal paste from the stock paste that came with the corsair h55. I was wondering what would be the best paste to use that would not affect the aluminum radiator.
I have that cooler and I used Arctic Silver 5. Just make sure to use a little bit of rubbing alcohol to get the old thermal paste completely off. The only point of thermal paste is to make sure there is no air between the cooler and cpu so don't use that much. The less you put, the easier it is for the heat to transfer to the cooler. They say rice grain size is what you are going for.
