Thank you for Your response
When I am selecting WAN Setup with static it asks me my ip adresses and after filling them all it gives me a warning " WAP IP should be on these networks:27.4.0.0/14......."
my static ip is llike 172.16.XXX.XXX......
Why it is rejecting my IP
How can I solve this problem

Here is the manufacturer's link to your router's user manual:

http://www.dlink.com/-/media/Consumer_Products/DIR/DIR%20600/Manual/DIR_600_B_2_Manual_EN_UK.pdf

Specifically you need to look at the Internet Setup entries for a static IP address assigned by your ISP. Page 19 shows the required setup entries based on the IP information from your ISP.

Your ISP should have provided a WAN IP address, Subnet mask, Gateway address, Primary DNS server IP address as noted on the setup page.

It does appear that you have been working through that process. Things may have gotten a bit mixed up as can easily happen.

I suggest that you do a reset on the router to restore it to factory settings and then start over on the Internet setup for a Static IP.

Note:

27.0.0.4 comes back as a Japanese/Tokyo IP address. Could the router be country specific and pre-configured for only that address range?
Is it a new or refurbished router? Where was the router purchased? Did you get any documentation or a CD/DVD with the router? May need to look into that if the above suggestions do not work.

Read the user's manual to learn the details of how to install the firmware. If you have the same router as Hardenda, see page 45 in the link I posted on July 14th.

However, that may or may not solve the problem as I do not know if his firmware was buggy or incorrect for his location.

Best suggestion is to just download the newest firmware for your router (match model and version) available at DLink's website.

Make sure to do a configuration save per the instructions on page 44 beforehand.

Here is a link to the DIR 600M N150 support page:

http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/support/product/dir-600-wireless-n-150-home-router

Just go to the downloads tab at the bottom of the page and be sure to select the correct revision number matching your router.

Then install the firmware following the user manual instructions. The process should be much the same....

Hopefully the router will work as expected. If not, then post what you have done and any specific error messages that you get or otherwise detail any problems.
