Computer freezing/restarting after installing Kingston HyperX Fury memory.

I recently purchased a Gigabyte 970a-UD3P motherboard, and it came with a HyperX Fury 1866Mhz memory for free (model HX318C10F/8). I already had a RAM kit and because I had only one module I didn't test it.
Then last week I purchased a pair for this HyperX memory (same exact model). But when I tried to test it my computer it simply freezes all the time.
To make it clearer, I replaced the two memory modules I use by the two brand new HyperX, and after a few minutes running the OS or after opening a HD video or game, the computer simply freezes forcing me to perform a hard shutdown. Sometimes it restarts by itself without any warning.
I tested the modules individually and both caused the same problem.
I also tried to downclock the memory from the default 1866 Mhz to the 1600Mhz from the memory modules I currently use. Problem persists.
Both my mobo and GPU BIOS are updated.
Can someone help me figuring out what is going on?

Solution
Quite often if you simply loosen all for screw then snug them down screw tight it can resolve the issue, from that point can snug it further by about a half turn of each screw in order (same to all 4 screws)

I use a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler. AFAIK I don't have bent pins, considering I never removed the CPU from this mobo, but I will check that later.

About the cooler being too tight it should not be a problem, since the GSkill Ripjaws I use are high profile and the HyperX are low profile.

I see. Now that you mentioned it, the cooler does not stay exactly on the center of the CPU die when I install it. I would need to be at home now to show you a picture of it so you could have a better idea if the positioning could be affecting the CPU pins or not. I will try that tonight.

And now I also remembered I was having some random memory problems with my RipJaws and when I reinstalled the CPU and memory modules it stopped. This might really be the case.

The AMD coolers use the lever system. There are no screws to tighten. What I can do is trying to adjust the rail that holds the cooler in place to make it stay more centered.

Well. It seems it worked. I removed the CPU also this time and there was some thermal paste near the borders touching the last row of pins. I cleaned it and reinstalled the memory modules and it worked. I played some HD videos and games just to make sure and it is working just fine.

This is the kind of thing that only happens when you build by yourself =P

Thanks for the help.

It seems that my problem was software related.
I used CCleaner fo fix my Windows and the freezes stopped.
I did that after noticing there were some errors on my system log pointing to the DeviceSetupManager, which made me think it could be a driver problem.
The PC is running 5 hours straight now and no problems so far.

My problem seems to be not solved, yet. This morning the freezes started again.
One thing I noticed is that my headset's mixamp kind of restarts when this happens. The lights go off and on.
Can this be a PSU problem?
And sometimes the PC simply restarts itself, like if I pressed reset.

What is the most strange thing so far it that sometimes I can use the computer normally for hours, including playing videos and gaming, but then I shutdown the PC and next reboot the freezing/restarting is back.

I tried to replace one piece at a time with the spare parts I have.
First I did it with the GPU. Problem persisted.
Then I moved to the memory modules. Same thing.
Next part was the PSU. Still crashing.
And finally I removed everything and went back to the old motherboard with all my new parts. Stable system!

That made me think the problem is with the motherboard. I sent it to Gigabyte for repairs. I will probably get it next week. Let's see if they can repair it.

More updates to come.

Here are the updates. as promised.

After sending the motherboard to Gigabyte, they tested it and no problems were found =(
The motherboard was sent back to me, and the problems persisted.
I continued my experiments, then.

What I found was very interesting.
Initially I thought that the problem was related to high load from videos and games.

I examined the chipset heatsink and it was really hot. But after measuring the motherboard temperature under load, it never went over 40C. Thus, I concluded that the heatsink was hot because it was doing its work very well =)

Later I had a crash while listening to music, which made me suspect of an audio driver issue.

After some testing I can now clearly reproduce the crashes.
To do that, all I need is to make my sound go though the HDMI from my GPU, using the Nvidia High Definition Audio.

This somehow causes the freezing / crashing I was experiencing.

Now to the hard part, how can I avoid these crashes while still having my HDMI sound? And why I have this problem only with my new motherboard and not with the old one?
