Hello. I am not very experienced with wireless bridging. Last time I had a tech support help me. However, I can no longer get help. Can someone please guide me step by step on how to wireless bridge these two devices? Consider me a beginner by the way. I'd greatly appreciate the help. Thank you!

The wireless on the Motorola is setup but I am stuck on how to tell the netgear to connect to the network.

I am able to open the netgear Web interface from 192.168.0.100. I don't know what to do next.

I just noticed the Netgear N150 is a wireless router. you are using the wrong device. You need an access point / range extender.

No this netgear n150 is an access point. Sorry if I was unclear. I will link the device I own.

page 50 has a pretty good description of what needs to be done, try it and let us know if you get stuck.

I followed the directions for page 50. This is exactly what I did:
1. Selected wireless point-to-point bridge
2. Edit-> put in the Remote MAC address of the motorola
3. Save
I also put the netgear's mac address in the motorola under wireless bridging as well. I don't know what else I am missing.
I can share my screen with you if that will be easier.

seems like there is a discrepancy in the auth settings, motorola is set to AES, netgear to 64 bit WEP.

Try bridging the devices with no encryption first, for testing purposes, then start introducing security and make sure it matches on both sides.

so was this setup working before at some point?

Yes, this setup was working before. I connected this same netgear to my older cable modem, which was the motorola sbg901.
And when I tried to disable security of no encryption, my computer would not connect to the modem. So then I tried both of the devices having the same security and passphrase. For both, I enabled WPA2-PSK and same passphrase and data encryption as AES. When I try to connect a device to the netgear, it keeps giving me an error saying incorrect password even though the password is correct. So I can't check whether the wireless bridge works or not since I can't connect to the netgear. Here are more screenshots.

first we need to make sure your computers can connect to the motorola-3da8c network. if computers can't connect, the netgear won't connect either.
second. post a screenshot of the netgear wireless tab, I would like to find a way to disable the netgear_11ng network. you don't need 2 networks, motorola-3da8c and netgear_11ng.
you only need the motorola-3da8c and you want the netgear to connect to it and to bridge it.

post a screenshot of the netgear wireless tab

clear the "turn radio on" checkbox and double check everything on the wireless bridge tab.

Okay, I'm noticing everytime I turn off the netgear, the remote MAC address auto changes to the mac address of my old modem even though I hit apply.
http://gyazo.com/bd6df8578aca602e00495dae4447aca0 (The AC:81...is the new one I want to bridge)
And second, under security->advanced, I put down the motorola's mac address in trusted wireless stations and again when I turn off the netgear, the mac address is gone.

And I forgot to screenshot the advanced section under the security tab. This is the advanced section...

I just reset my netgear again and all the old settings came back.
