hello, I am building my first pc and I live in mexico (the average temperature of my city is 30 °C), these are 2 builds I did using the components available on a online store in my country, using the prices of that store both builds cost almost the same with the only difference being the CPU and motherboard, the AMD build is 10 MXN more expensive but that is an insignificant difference, so I am doing this question because I don't know which one is a better option, also if the 2 fans that come in the case and the stock coolers of both CPUs will be enough to cool the components properly? I do not plan to do any overclocking.

Intel core i3 4160 build:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WTqvt6

AMD FX 6300 build:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6Yqvt6

I noticed that pcpartpicker shows an incompatibility note that says these motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera/Haswell CPUs and I don't know how to do this, need help with that too :(

Solution
The i3 has an upgrade path and performs on par with the 6300. I say neither and wait a bit for AMD's AM4 socket and Intel's Skylake on 1151 then decide between red or blue.

I wasn't sure because the i3 has only 2 cores while the fx has 6, maybe when DX12 comes out the fx will get more benefit so I better wait for it to come and see how it performs

Nah you probably are saying that cause you might have seen that games like Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition werent supporting the pentium dual core but the i3 is a dual core with 4 threads so they DO support it. I really recommend the i3 route, should be just fine for gaming.

yes I better wait for that, since I still have to save a bit of cash to buy the components, thx everyone

Get the i5 and the 970, the ssd isnt really necessary ( it'll only make things like -5 secs faster to load) but its your choice. The 970 beats the r9 290 by just a little bit but it also requires less power and doesnt get as hot. If you are into extreme editing or graphics design then the i5 will be more than enough for gaming.
