I need a motherboard for my future CPU:
Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5 GHz LGA 1150

I plan to overclock using a:
Corsair H100i GTX High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

  • ■ The goal is intense Gaming.

    ■ I will use a single 980Ti and I have no intention on doing a SLI in the future.

    ■ I intent to do a moderate overclock on that CPU, it doesn't have to be an extreme overclock, but I also want to take the maximum advantage of my cooling system.

    ■ I'm planing to buy an appropriate case, once I choose the motherboard, so I'm not worried about that for now.

Here are 3 options, all of them look very good, and I can't decide which one is the best for my case.
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK

ASUS Z97-A/USB 3.1

Edit:
MSI Z97A GAMING 7 USB 3.1

I'm not tight on the budget, so I appreciate if anyone have any other suggestions, but also I don't want to spend more than I really need.

Based on brand alone, Gigabyte would win out of the three in my book, their build quality for motherboards is top quality, ASUS isn't far behind, though. I think if you're really looking for a reason to pick one over the other, you won't find it, it's more of the looks, the brand build quality, and what the motherboard offers, I like the Gigabyte.

Out of those, the Z97A for its USB 3.1. The Hero is on an old chipset, plus it's referbished, so it has its risks. And certain Gigabyte boards have bad reliability ratings (don't know about this one). If it were me though, I'd pick this MSI. Tons of USB ports, plus USB 3.1:

It's all up to you and your preferences though. Just not that hero, it won't OC as well as the other boards.

Thank you for the answers, both of you.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw this ASUS, the USB 3.1, but I also think: "You can always buy a USB 3.1 card and plug it in any motherboard for that matter".

I loved this MSI, but it's a little more expensive than the other ones, is it really worth the price difference?

What do you think about this one, compared to the Gigabyte and the ASUS?
MSI Z97-G45

Its really up to you.

Gigabyte supports more RAM speeds.
MSI has more slots for PCI-E 3.0 x16
Gigabyte has more USB ports

Ive never seen the g45, so I can't p there. But judging on the styling, it is an older board (Or not, like I said, I've never seen the g45). It's about the same as the Asus Z97A3.1 though, so I'd go with the ASUS if it's between Those two
