Basically. I decided to install my old laptop HDD onto my system. The BIOS detected it, Windows 8.1 won't. I already tried going into Disk management, and Device Manager, both to no avail. However, when I put the HDD into an external enclosure, it suddenly worked. So can I somehow install the laptop HDD straight to SATA port on the motherboard?
