Hi guys I could really use some advice. I just bought a new motherboard because my old motherboard kept going BSOD, but even with this new MoBo I can't even start the computer. When i press the on-switch all the usual stuff starts, like LED's and fans, but I can't even get into the BIOS settings. My screen just stays black, no info at all.

I bought this new MoBo because my old one just went into the Blue Screen Of Death after a few seconds or few minutes, depending on how lucky I am. I am starting to suspect that I am barking up the wrong tree, that it's not the MoBo at all but my PSU?

My screen says "no signal" whenever i turn on my computer. Which means that it at least knows that my computer is trying to put out a signal. I connected the HDMI from the screen to my laptop just to rule out the possibility of my display screen being faulty, but it works fine.

I also tried connecting to the motherboard HDMI, as opposed to my GPU where I usually connect, but not working.

Ok guys thank you so much for paying attention to my thread. I just tried to run Speccy to get my rig specs and realized im on my laptop. What a rookie mistake. Anyway as i write this I know i am severely underpowered.

PSU; CX600M
CPU; i5-4670K
GPU; Radeon R9 290x
MB; preveiously ASRock z97 Pro4, Currently ASUS Z97-E
RAM; Crucial Ballisitix 4 Gygabites times four.

I have a SSD main drive where my OS and all the major stuff is,but can't recite the specs, since im working off memory right now.

I will go replace the mobo with a new equivalent, and get a new PSU during the same trip. I will follow the instructions in the article in your link. I didn't know that so many factors can affect a new mobo install. Thanks and cheers.
