Hello. I have been having lots of issues trying to get windows 8 on my PC. I unpluged every other drive so it would be the only drive to boot up. The drive still dose not run the disk. Ik the cd is good and ik the drive works because it dose in my windows vista. And ik vista don't work for installing so booting is the only way. I think it's something in the bios. But any help would be the best

Open your bios settings by powering on your PC and press the del, esc or button listed on screen to access the bios or setup.

Go to the boot tab. Check the boot priority list and move the CD drive to the top of that list. Save the settings, reboot and see if it works.

If you don't see your CD drive in there, could be a connection problem
