I have purchased one 500GB SATA HDD of WD, after few months it started showing SMART command failed. So I created RMA and replaced with one 750 GB SATA. After few days it started showing same SMART error. Again I replaced with a 1TB SATA after creating RMA. Now this 1 TB started showing SMART command failed while booting. Is there any problem with my Motherboard?

Hey there, surjasen.

I'm very sorry to hear about the errors you're constantly getting. Where do you get the SMART data from? Is this some sort of BIOS/UEFI check you're doing? Try downloading DLG (Data Lifeguard Diagnostics) and run both tests (Quick and Extended), to see what results you'll get. Also don't forget to backup any important data which you might have on that drive. Here's how to test the HDD with DLG: How to test a drive for problems using Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for Windows.
Other than that, this could indeed be caused by a motherboard or a PSU issue as well.

Please let me know how everything goes.
