Hello, Im planning to custom build my first computer and run Mac OS on it. I need some help on the components compatibility though.
My current build is as follows
CPU: i7-4790K
GPU: MSI GeForce FTX 970 4GB
Motherboard: ASUS Z97-A ATX
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3-2133 C9
Power supply: Corsair CX 600M
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5Inch SATAIII Internal SSD
Case: Fractal Design Define R5 windowless
By cross-referencing to this hackintosh hardware list most of the parts are compatible except for the GPU and power supply. However, this list is not complete so there is a chance that these components could work. Plus, I do not really want to change the GPU as i think the MSI model is the best in its class already. Does anyone know of these components being fully compatible with a hackintosh?
