I had a build already which was really good for a £800 budget. Now (2015) I am looking for a better rig to play new H.D games and for editing. I also want to connect my P.S.4 to this monitor and play as my previous one is too big.(by the way I only want a 23 inch monitor,as it is optimum for gaming. I will be using this build for a long time, so I want a very reliable build that will last for ages. My budget is £1000 but I would be happy if the build is below £800, so I can buy other hardware related stuffs. Thank you in advance:ange:

This build will be really good 1080p performer, at highest settings.
Including SSD, for improving general use experience.

Well, your old build is totally capable to run everything you throw at it, i see no benefits to get new build (you won't notice any great improvement, except GPU), especially 2 weeks before Skylake 1151 release coming.
Just get new GPU, 980 ti (if you want the best). r9 390/ gtx 970 is also a great option for 1080p gaming.

so do you think my £585 build is better than the £800 - £1000 build you suggested, that sounds cool!!! can you just give me some components that make my current build a beast but not increasing the price rate over £900.
This is one of my old ideas:

CPU

Intel Core i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor
£137.36 Buy
Motherboard

Asus H87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
£96.32 Buy
Memory

Monitor

£139.99 Buy
Total: £552.25
Is this better or worse?

This build is not better than the builds we suggested to you. Have you already built it? Or you just planning?
If you need a whole new build and you don't plan on overclocking, my i5 4590 build is optimal within your budget.

SSD is not necessary, but it will improve your overall experience by a lot.

i5 4679 and h87 are overpriced old series CPU/mobo.

i am only working on 1080p so isn't it fine with a 970 over r9 390? and is there a reason for sticking with 4590? otherwise iam happy with ur build.

Xemko

well, i5 4590 is on par with i5 4670(which cost 40 more) if that was your question. As i already mentioned i5 4590 is great value CPU which will be sufficient for high-end gaming. gtx 970 is great card, if you prefer it over r9 390, go for it, You can't go wrong with either.
