I'm swapping out my old motherboard (MSI Z87 G43) for ASUS VII RANGER Z97. I use windows 8.1. Can anyone provide me with a step by step instruction or guide?
I see alot of different people and videos online giving me different guides and instructions on doing so.

Need help asap :(

EDIT: I meant no physically install a motherboard. I know how to do sorry about that. I meant like beforehand, like unistalling windows? or unistalling any chipset drivers

first make sure your power supply can handle the motherboard and whatever else is in there
next make sure everything is unplugged
(touch the metal part in your case this will de charge your hands and make you ready to touch the motherboard)
after that remove all screws on the motherboard slide motherboard back from case all
remove motherboard and place on table remove faceplate from the back of the computer wall
(touch the metal part in your case this will de charge your hands and make you ready to touch the motherboard)
gat faceplate from the new motherboard place in the case
(touch the metal part in your case this will de charge your hands and make you ready to touch the motherboard)
get new motherboard place in computer case mach the screws and plug it back in
all done
would you like any further instructions?
