Hi there, I'm new to computers and computer building. So I need some assistance with my chosen products below:

Case: corsair obsidian 250D
CPU: Intel i5-4690
GPU: EVGA 2gb GTX 750 Ti
Mobo: ASUS H81I-PLUS sorry
Storage: 2TB Seagate Harddrive (no SSD's)

1) How good is this system for gaming ?

2) Would I require a cpu cooler, if so will the Corsair H100i suffice ?

3) the system comes with 1 x 140mm fan. With the gpu fan and possibly H100i fans, would I need any 80mm fans on the back ?

4) Would my system be affected by only having ~4mm clearance on both the left and right side ? (front and back have more than enough I think)

Thank you in advance to anyone that replies and helps me out :)

1. Playing LOL & CS:GO? Definitely! You should get around 200FPS on the higher setting not exactly sure. (1080P) I am a heavy CS:GO player myself, you can see my steam in my signature.

2. So in your case you always want a neutral or positive pressure. This means that you have...

1. It is a Entry - Mid level gaming build. The CPU is great for gaming however i would have recommended the R9 285 or the 270X above the 750ti.

2. If you don't mind the slightly higher temperatures on the CPU and the noise level of the stock intel fan you do not need to purchase an aftermarket cooler. However for a few extra bucks you can get a Hyper 212evo which will give near silent performance with great temperatures.

3. Can you clear this question i don't understand.

4. It should not have any affect.

Any more questions? I'm here to answer them for you!

:D

Dear KKAW,

To clarify number 3)

The case comes with a built-in 140mm fan in the front, but has space for 2 x 80mm fans in the back. Would I need the 2 80mm fans or would the front fan suffice ?

Im just concerned about things overheating as it will be housed inside the storage part of my desk.

Also, will the graphics card I've chosen be able to play LoL and CS GO fairly well until I can afford to upgrade ?

Thankyou for the answers you have given so far.

2. So in your case you always want a neutral or positive pressure. This means that you have a higher amount of air flowing into your case than releasing air out of your case. If you have negative pressure, meaning you have more fans exerting air from the case, you will have more dust and other unwanted particles entering your case. Currently you have a positive pressure so it is not a big issue, however if your CPU does get a bit hot and if you are willing to spend a few extra bucks it would be nice to have a 80mm rear fan on the back!

Good Luck :)
