Hi I need some help with a strange case:
I Have a PC with:
MB=Asrock G41C-GS BIOS 1.40
RAM=2x DDR3 CRUCIAL 4GB 1333Mhz
One HDD Seagate 250GB SATA3

Trying to install windows in this system hangs at CLASSPNP.SYS, I've seen your other threads about CLASSPNP.SYS, exchanged HDD, And did not solve.

It must be another thing.

POST is OK!

Put original windows CD to USB PEN to try to overcome,... no success.

Any ideas on other possible Hypothesis?

Solution
CLASSPNP.SYS is system files, when you install the OS and get the error, that means the OS has problem not the HDD.
What windows do you have? Do you have the DVD/CD drive? because you said "Put original windows CD to USB PEN to try to overcome,... no success." If you have one try to use it instead of using the USB to boot.

First of all, thanks for taking the time to review this issue.

- Windows that I Have: original DVD of MS Windows 7 PRO X64.
- Made a PEN from the Original DVD, after trying to install with it, with no success, and same problem.
- The HDD Faulty was listed as a solution on another thread on Tom's Hardware related to CLASSPNP.SYS problem. I've ruled it out by changing to Another HDD.

System is with minimum hardware requirements for Setup:
MB= Asrock G41C-GS (Graphics Board on the Motherboard)
CPU = Intel Q9550
RAM= 2 DIMMs Crucial 1333Mhz 4096MB DDRII ( Tryed other dimms Lower capacity and lower speed, same problem)
HDD= one HDD on SATA Port of Motherboard.

The system was functioning before, OS had been corrupted, so trying clean install, but hangs on CLASSPNP.SYS, only hardware that I haven't changed is MB, and Graphics Board.

Seem's to be some hardware issue that is originating the problem.

1) Is the HDD brand new?
2) CLASSPNP.SYS error may due to bad memory and damaged hard disk, if you know your HDD is fine, just try use one stick RAM during the OS installation.
3)
Made a PEN from the Original DVD
I think you should have an optical disc drive, why not use the Original DVD to install the OS.
4) If the OS had been corrupted, you can try to "Run a Startup Repair" http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/681-startup-repair.html
