which one is better for gaming?

The first one without a doubt, the cpu is far better, and the gpu is on the same level as the one from the other build. I'd suggest throwing in an extra $40 though and getting an r9 280x instead of an r9 280 if possible though, that would be a very solid budget gaming pc.
