Hello everyone!

This may be a noob question but I was wondering if it was possible to keep my old files and Windows 7 with my new replacement motherboard? My previous motherboard got fried and i do not have another desktop to back up my current hard drive, so i bought a brand new motherboard (different model and brand). I am able to start it up and get into the BIOS but i am in a constant loop with startup repair

I have also misplaced my current windows 7 CD, I am willing to buy another one if that will help my current situation, its mostly important to me to keep my current files in that hard drive and I do not want it wiped out :/ If theres anythig else i should try buying or purchasing please leave me some suggestions, This was my first build so i do not have that much knowledge.

It will work fine. All data is stored on the drives. Plug them back in and you should be good to go.

There's a chance Windows will get annoyed because you've changed motherboard. If it does, call Microsoft and they'll be able to sort it out for you.
