So I am thinking about to build a 800$-1000$ gaming pc. I just want to know your opinions wich card is better. Personally I like Nvidias driver software and stuff but I think 960 is going to lose because the 280x has higher everything and that XFX version is also ocd to 1 ghz. And by the way, I don't care power consuption :). Both cards nearly same on Germany so that 10$ is not a big deal.

If it's 15% faster ill go with that for sure! And is the difference even bigger because the XFX black edition is 1 ghz instead of basic 850 mhz? And that you really much :)!

Being overclocked should widen the gap further, how for I don't know, but that is a pretty good OC, probably add an additional 5% is some games.
