Will it work? Yeah, it actually has 2 of those connectors on it, 1 6 pin and 1 6+2. THat said I hope you don't own that PSU, its a cheap piece of junk.

Buy this:

or this

$50 is a bit too low to do it, but get either of the above, they are only a little more.

EDIT: Just found this killer deal, a little overkill but only $54 after rebate

Wait so if the PSU has a 6+2 connector it would work with the GPU?

Don't be cheap with the power supply - it is the heart of the system from which all of the components rely. Buy some 500 watt PSU from EVGA, Seasonic, Corsair, or basically any well-received power supply with an 80 Plus rating. This power supply from EVGA will likely do you well.

EDIT
The 380 you are looking at requires 2 6-pin power connectors, which my suggested PSU, and most others, has.

It needs at least 2 6 pin connectors, 6+2 means its a 6 pin that can also be used as an 8 pin which some cards need, the extra 2 pins come off. The original PSU you specified (which is NOT reccomended) has a 6+2 as well as a 6, you need both to run a GPU.

The last PSU I specified has 2 sets so you could run 2 video cards if you want. The other have it as well, so you're fine.

You have a power hungry CPU and a power hungry GPU. You need a good power supply. Here's 4 to choose from. Pick one for your budget-

what about the
Thermaltake SMART 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Tier 4 very low quality. Click the link in this reply box for "PSU tier list" and choose something from tier 1 or 2.
Tier 3 and 4 is for moms facebook computer or dads office pc, not a gaming system.
