Hello,

I just bought a new gaming pc with the following components.

- 8GB (1x 8192MB) HyperX DIMM DDR3-1600 CL10 FURY
- 530 Watt Xilence Performance Series
- 2000GB Intenso 6.513.284
- AMD FX Series FX-8320 8x 3.50GHz So.AM3 + BOX
- MSI AMD 970 970 Gaming So.AM3 + dual channel DDR3 ATX Retail
- 4096MB MSI Radeon R9 380 Gaming 4G Actieve PCIe 3.0
- Coolermaster Silencio 452 Mid Tower

I have put it together myself but I'm getting some quite terrifying temperatures.
As you can see above I am using the stock cpu cooler.
I have tried removing and re-applying the thermal paste but it didn't resolve the heat problems.
The stats underneath are from a 20min run I did, low load (30% cpu usage max):

Not sure what is up here ?
Advice would be much appreciated.
If any of you need more info just ask !

Thanks in advance !

*edit*
I might also add that my GPU fans seem to not work automatically.
When i start up they work for 10 seconds or so then turn off and don't turn on again.
When I put them on 100% via speedfan, tho, they seem to work perfectly.
Not sure if related but quite strange imo...

*FIXED EDIT*
Thanks guys !
I have rechecked my fans and I had put one in the wrong direction.
There were 2 fans above each other facing different directions...
Fail... But I learnt what impact airflow can have, jeezus :)
See underneath for the new temperatures after 30-40mins in.
(thanks again)

Solution
If you are 100% certain that your stock cooler is installed correctly, you need a new cooler, the stock amd cooler should keep the cpu cool enough under a typical load, so i have a reason to believe it is not installed correctly or is defective, or case airflow is bad.

Also consider a new cooler for your CPU, I don't have a lot of experience with AMD CPUs, but many people recommend an aftermarket cooler. First make sure the temperatures are actually that high. 82 Celsius is over the recommended limits.

Very much considering it now :) and done, check amd overdrive temps above.

Off topic:
Well idk really didn't put too many research in my build. RAM is something I am planning to buy extra in the future.
Is the choice of mobo - gpu that bad ?

On topic:
Yes that is a stock cooler.

I don't see what I could've done wrong ? I have watched some instruction video's about it.
This is how it went:
- Take out of box, take plastic off, put cpu in place, (don't need to put paste as it is pre-pasted) put in position, wiggle a bit and then span the hooks around pin, and lock into place.
I redid this step, applied some new cooling paste and no difference...

When you reapplied paste, did you use a lot of it? Also did you make sure to clean off the old paste?

Secondly, The 8320 is known to run at high temps, as are all AMD CPUs, that's just how AMD does things. HOT. The stock cooler should do a fine job at keeping it cool, under load, maybe not SUPER cool, but it should keep it reasonable. The thing i'm thinking here is that you probably have bad Case Airflow, meaning the hot air is staying trapped inside the case. Try doing some more exhaust fans and see if that helps.

Finally, you said that your GPU fans don't stay on? From what I know certain GPU's don't turn on their fans until it's needed. So that could explain that, and why they DO work when you manually control them using Speedfan.
