I think that I have a virus, please help.

I have run multiple virus scans and I have checked in the task manager and cannot see anything that is using a lot of resources, but over the last 2 days my computer has been running really slow and when I restart the computer and pages start closing I can see Google pages open that I am not running my self. Any ideas? Notepad is also currently using 400,000k of processing power and it will not let me open it's file location or end the process.

One way to check is to try to download a virus program like AVG. Most viruses will not allow you to download a virus program. Many will block you from going on the internet. Get a flash drive and download Malwarebytes using someone else's computer. Extract it onto the flash drive and run it on your computer. See what it finds. Download any virus program and put it on the flash drive. See if it finds anything. If either does write down the name of the malware or virus and go online to see what you can do to clean it.

Hello, thanks for the reply, I have run a full computer scan using AVG, and between posting this question and your answer I downloaded malware bytes on my computer and have been running it, it has so far found 16 threats,4 of which are called trojans.bedep and pup.optional. Letting it finish and see if it is any better. Also it said that malwarebytes was unsafe and that I should not download it. Thanks for the help will check as solved if it is faster, if not I will try malware bytes from someone else's computer.
