Which 960 is the best?

Solution

I guess you're reasons are fairly legitimate for disagreeing with my build. There's no reason for you to immediately dislike AMD cpus. I agree that they aren't the best cpus out there, and that intel can definitely compete at all price points, if not dominate, but AMD does make good budget hardware. As for which 960 I think you should get, as someone who has an asus strix model of the gtx 970, I'm a big fan of the work Asus put into their model, and benchmarks show that it keeps cool and quiet while performing just as well as many other models. Well It's a good build overall, but I wouldn't suggest getting a gtx 960, because it has only 2gb of vram and has generally shown to do poorly against its AMD price competitor. As for the cpu it's really solid for the budget, as is the mobo, but in my build I'd suggest paying a bit less for the cpu that way you can get an excellent gpu. An fx 8320 or fx 8350 wouldn't bottleneck most gpus on the market, and do alright in games. If you don't want to get this build, just please buy an AMD r9 280x instead of a gtx 960, you'll get noticeably better performance. Also I'd still suggest my psu over the one you picked.
