I've browsed through newegg and the only choices I really ran into were boards that were 400+ dollars and i'm really not looking to drop that much on my motherboard. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated! Thanks again.

Oh and P.S this is going to be a gaming rig.

Solution
DDR4 with an Intel CPU will come with the upcoming Skylake CPU's. They will be announced August 5th, and CPU's apparently will start coming that same day with others in September. However, those will require a new 1151 socket motherboard.

No 1150 socket CPU will ever use DDR4. The last 1150 CPU's just came out a month or so ago.

bdayton....it comes down to your build funds and what is the better buy for your money. right now ddr3 ram is around 40-50 for 8g kits. a 1150 mb the a or ar run 140.00 before rebate and a 4690k is 200.00-230.00 online. your going to be paying more for the ddr4 ram and newer cpu and mb when they drop in a few weeks. intill the nda lifts in aug we cant tell you in firm numbers how much faster on cpu is over the other. keep an eye out if your state has tax free days,
