Extremely Slow Write Speeds on SSD

I have 2 x Samsung 830 setup as a striped disk.

I felt my drives were slow and checked crystalmark and these were the results I got...



Any idea what I can do to improve?

Extra Details -

I use a Rampage IV Extreme boards and these are connected to the ASMedia Sata 3 ports and not the X79 ports so hardware raid 0 is not a possibility (since I have another 2 drives in that configuration)

make sure the mb bios is up to date to rule out a bios bug. also make sure you have the newest asmedia sata drivers.

would email asus support for link to there
Asmedia ASM-106x Sata 6G Drivers Version 3.0.2.0000 WHQL
found info of it online but no trusted sites.
