Hello there. I am experiencing repeated and long term issued with my connection to the internet on my primary desktop which runs off of Wifi. It is not possible to wire directly into my router.

I have tried resetting my router
Resetting my Wifi USB thing while my computer has been on
Using both of my networks (I have two both running at 1.5 megs down)

Essentially it mimics complete disconnection from my network like if the company shut it down. Except I retain signal strength as well as 1 megs down and I remain connected. My web browsing ceases to function for several minutes. Games the latency shoots up where it lags and can't change anymore and disconnects for a time.

None of my other devices on wifi ever experience this. My secondary device is a laptop on the same network and even on both I never experience this problem.

I do have a hamachi network set up and it may have started when I first used that but I can't be sure, can this cause any of the problems?

I need help, thank you people from the internet.

Solution
run hitman pro and malwarebytes to make sure there no spyware taking over your rig. under usb and the wifi hardware in device manager make sure power savings is off so windows does not power down the usb or wifi dongle.
make sure your mb chipset and usb drivers and the wifi dongle drivers are up to date.
use msconfig and under the startup box turn everything off but your anti virus. may have a program running in the background that the issue. if a friend has another spare dongle try it or pick one up from a store that you can return it if the error follows the dongle.

Hey there,

Here is a few things you could try

1.Open cmd
Type in ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns

2.Interference can cause these issues. If you have any microwaves or cordless home phones around your network devices including the router, move them as far away as you can

3. Check if windows/antivirus firewall is on. Disable it temporarily and see if the connection speeds stop slowing down. If it does, create an exception in your firewall for those games

That certainly does sound like it's your Hamachi network connection which is glitching, not your local wifi network (since you say it remains connected and the other devices don't have this problem).

Is it possible to run without hamachi for a few days to see if the problem goes away? If it does, then you know it's definitely a problem with Hamachi.
