Even old games like IGI 1 are hanging, i have updated graphic drivers and have set 3d settings to maximum performance but nothing is working on other hand i have hp 8200 tower system with core i5 2nd gen 3.10ghz 2gb ram running games smoothly on its builtin card here is my system's detailed configuration

I solved the problem it wasn't hardware based problem i simply downgraded drivers to original one which windows updates automatically had updated ago lags gone! anyway i thank all for sharing that important knowledge about ram channels :)

likely down to your ram config. your system is stuck in single channel mode which pretty much halves your bandwidth compared to running in dual channel.
also your gpu/integrated gpu isnt gaming grade by some margin. in fact it barley meets the requirements to be called a video adapter.
so yeah you will need a different memory config (2x2gig minimum, preferably 2x4 gig) and a dedicated gpu (minimum gtx 750ti) if you want more performance.
you may also need to upgrade the psu if yours is under 450w.

I agree with HEXit's suggestions above.

According to your screenshots, you are using the IGP. It's OK for basic stuff but that's the weak link in your setup.

You are also using just 4GB in single channel mode. Get a matching RAM stick and install it in dual channel mode (* 8GB total in Dual Channel is the sweet spot for gaming ) and that will help.

Dual channel has double the theoretical bandwidth of single, but in reality the performance increase is 5-10%. I doubt it's that.

The OP also mentions the same games are running smoothly on an older i5 system with less RAM and still built-in graphics.

@OP: That second screenshot shows one core running at 3.6 GHz (maximum turbo boost), one at 3.5 GHz and the other two at 1.6 GHz. What other programs were you running when you took the screenshot?

am i supposed to get another 4gb single channel mode stick which will make them dual? or should i replace this ram with dual channel stick clarify

You would be best off buying a dual channel pair (2x2 GB or 2x4 GB). In theory if you buy an identical stick to the one you have in there they should work in dual channel together, but in practice it's a bit hit and miss.

This article gives you some idea about the benefits of dual channel using integrated graphics. They're there, no doubt, but I'm still far from convinced that - with the old games you're talking about that work fine on the older system - it's going to be the difference between playable and non-playable.

What does Speccy show on your other system?

It's the fact that two of your cores are having to run at full turbo speed which doesn't seem right to me.
