Hi,
I have a problem with my ram run it at full speed. The mainboard recognize the xmp-profile with it's recommended speed at 2400MHz but still sets the standard speed to 1600MHz. Both setting the speed manually to 2400MHz or activate the xmp-profile will not boot my computer and I'll have to reset CMOS. The BIOS is up to date so I hope someone can help me because I'm using the APUs integrated graphics which will run quiet a bit better with faster ram.
Thx!

Solution
Not all motherboards change the CPU-NB Voltage, that's the voltage you need to tweak for the CPU to support DDR3-2400. XMP should adjust DRAM Voltage, so no worries there.

There is no AMD CPU that natively supports DDR3-2400, so additional tweaks are necessary.

Ok, that's funny - Setting the speed to 2133MHz didn't work either. But it works when I disable the integrated graphics! I can set the speed manually or the xmp-profile but in both cases it only use max 2133MHz instead of the 2400. Well it's quiet better than 1600MHz and I have to use a native graphic card but I think I can live with it for now. Maybe you still have a solution to get the full speed. I don't think that I have to play with the voltage because using the xmp-profile should set the correct value.
