Hello,

I am looking to buy a new desktop which is under £900, plays all the current games on ultra at 60fps and will be able to last a few years keeping up with all the new releases. I am 100% not building one, I am buying a pre-made one. My question is this one good?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Freshtech-Motherboard-Performance-Certified-Barracuda/dp/B00I443IBM/ref=sr_1_15?&s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1436961022&sr=1-15&keywords=Freshtech+Intel+Core+I7+4790

I have looked at other build your own PC sites etc. but when I select all of the components of this PC it is more expensive than here on amazon. Do you think this one on amazon is good disregarding the price - I'm not concerned about whether I could get it for £100 cheaper if I built it myself etc. and secondly is it decent value for money and will last for a few years playing games on ultra at 60fps?

Thank you

Not a very good price/perfromance build, you can build PC that will perfrom the same in games for much less.

If you dont want to build you PC, i would try to find a PC store that build your PC for you if you pay them. These Pre-built PC are not worth it.

Build you linked:
-You dont need i7 for gaming
-8gb of ram is enough fro gaming
-cheap motherboard
-GTX 970 wont max out every game on ultra for that you need GTX 980ti (Witcher 3)
-Bad quality PSU
-one of the worst performing SSDs

Thank you very much for the response, I will consider what you said about asking a store to build one but as far as premade ones is this any better: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Freshtech-Gigabyte-Motherboard-Performance-Certified/dp/B00J4KP1BU/ref=sr_1_10?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1436976600&sr=1-10&keywords=PC+GTX980+TI

It has an i5 processor, 8GB RAM, a different motherboard, GTX 980TI.

Just wondering what's wrong with the power supply and SSD?

Thanks again

Thanks, would this be a better PSU of similar price to replace the Corsair CX600: http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-Edition-Bronze-Semi-Modular-Supply/dp/B008O50WGA

Also I will try to get that samsung SSD instead.

Yes, that power supply is manufactured by Seasonic which makes high quality power supplies!
