Looking for uninterruptible power supply(UPS) that work with 1000W power supply

Solution
The country you live in has a significant impact on the UPS selection. The rating (1000W) for your power supply isn't very important to UPS selection. What is important is determining the actual power usage of your machine. You could use one of the power supply calculators or you could use something like the Kill A Watt meter -- http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Akill%20a%20watt

If you have a more precise estimate on the power usage for your PC then more guidance can be given.

That depends on how much power your PC uses.

If it's a totally insane rig that actually needs all 1000W that the PSU can supply, you'll need to look at a minimum of a 1500VA UPS.

I'd advise looking at something like PC Parts Picker to get an estimate of the system's maximum power usage, taking into account possible future upgrades such as adding another GPU, then looking at the power ratings of UPSes to see what meets the need.
