Hello all,
I have a dell optiplex 755 MT (the largest case)
E8200 2.66Ghz
8 gigs of ram
Radeon HD5670 (GDDR5 512mb) graphics card...
running windows 8.1 (64bit)
First question....would running windows 7 give me better performance? (for gaming) I have a extra copy of windows 7 I can install...
However, I'm here looking for help on upgrading my graphics card...
I would rather not upgrade my power supply so I need a card that draws it's power from the pci express slot only....and a card that will fit the optiplex 755 MT.....
what would be a upgrade from the Radeon HD5670 (GDDR5 512mb) graphics card I'm now running?
The cheaper price the better but I'm willing to spend $130(ish) on a new card.....is it worth spending the $130? I can't afford a new computer or to build a new one so I would just like to upgrade my graphics card....The upgrade will be for playing games....
also...needs to be a single slot card.....
(I did some google searches and alot of people recommend the 7750 but I believe thats a older card that is no longer sold?) I'm looking for GDDR5 1GB or better that will not bottleneck with my cpu....
I prefer to shop at microcenter as I have one in driving distance ( I do not want to order something online...I prefer in store shopping)
