geforce gtx 650 ti only cd work

i have a geforce gtx 650 ti and i can get the card to work with an installation cd but the version is 335.23 and when i go to update to 353.30 or lower nothing happens it uninstall my version but wont update then i did a clean installation using ddu while trying older versions and still no update instead i get a yellow triangle in device manager saying ( Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) )

Odd that it works with the CD version of the driver, but not the download version. Try running CCleaner, then DDU. There might be a registry error keeping you from installing the new driver.

i have used both and still nothing and when i play a game with the cd version games crash or i get a i need a directx 11 capable gpu

The GTX 650 Ti is a DX 11 card. And even the older driver is DX 11 aware. I wonder if the problem is with the card itself?

What happens if you let Win Update find the correct driver for the card instead of installing your own driver? Update will eventually find one a couple versions behind after awhile if there is no driver loaded.

if i let windows update it will give me the yellow triangle in device manager with a message saying Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems code 43
