Can I use free upgrade from Win7 to 10 key to activate OS on another computer?

Hi, I have a Toshiba Laptop and I planned to transfer Windows 7 from it to my deskop but its an OEM license. I decided that I would instead get the free upgrade to Win10 but does that mean that I can transfer the key to the desktop instead?

And to clarify even more, no, that will not work.
That new Windows 10 license will be for that upgraded device. The Toshiba.

No, you cannot.
You can upgrade that Toshiba, but you cannot use that key on a whole different PC.

to clarify a little bit more.. Since I know that the Win7 OEM is not able to transfer to another computer. Would it be possible to upgrade to Win10 then use a 3rd party key finder to find the license key and activate it on another computer (Desktop)
