Okay So I just got a new Lenovo y40-80 today and a few hours after I'd have been using it and playing tf2 tf2 froze so I turned it off and back on again and I started up tf2, the game started but when I was finding a match It froze again and I restarted my computer again I clicked task manager and with no programs open other than the ones running in the background I was at 99% or 100% hard drive usage. I have a 1tb 5400 rpm hard drive so I don't know what the hell could be wrong. Please help I need to know what's up.

I'd recommend you to try resolving the issue by disabling some Windows Services and see if the HDD usage will improve.
Here's what you need to do:
Press Windows+R
Write services.msc
Disable
1-Super fetch
2-Windows Search
3-Background Intelligent Transfer Service
If doesn't help, I'd suggest you to run your HDD manufacturer's diagnostic tool to check up on the health and SMART status of the drive.
