Computer beeps rapidly upon startup. Processor fan spins then stops

When I boot my computer it beeps rapidly and the processor fan spins then stops then spins then stops. The computer restarts and the process repeats. Please help me :( :(

Sounds like it might be a RAM issue. Can you get into the BIOS? Sometimes they'll have a memory diagnostic in there that would tell you if the RAM is at fault. What computer to do you have, or is it a custom built PC? If so, what motherboard/CPU/RAM are you using?
