I have a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard and I'm planning on getting a Fractal Design Midi R2 Case. The case comes with 3 Fractal Design Silent Series Fans (3 pin). My motherboard has only two 3 pin slots and two 4 pin slots. I don't think it's possible to get an adapter so that one of the fans works in the 4 pin slot, so I was considering using a splitter to get two fans into one slot on the motherboard. Would this work and/or are there any consequences?
