Computer keeps shutting down, suspect PSU problems, how to know for certain?

I just recently installed a new PSU, GPU, and Harddrive into my computer. Things were off to a rocky start, the computer wouldn't actually SHUT DOWN. But after fiddling with the wires, all was well for about 24 hours.

Today, my computer just randomly shut down, did rapid restarts (didn't even make it to the bios screen), then eventually shut down and wouldn't even turn on with the power button.

After flipping the I/O power switch off and on the back of my PSU off and on, the computer would turn on for about 10 minutes, then do the same thing again.

I took it out just now, unplugged EVERYTHING, replugged them in, and turned it back on. It has been on for about 2 hours now with no problems, but history has me feeling like this is only temporary. Is this a problem with the PSU, or could something else be causing it?

Solution
It was, i think a minor short circuit in your system.
The PSU was auto shutting off to avoid power surge.
I think what you did fixed that short.
It seems like a PSU problem. The best way to test it is to use a spare PSU and see if it does the same thing for your system. If it doesnt then its a PSU problem. If it does do the same shutting down thing, then its something else. Or maybe get a friend to test your PSU in his system. :)

Ah, unfortunately neither of these options are available to me. My old PSU doesn't work with my new GPU due to not having enough VGA connectors, and I don't have my old GPU anymore. And I definitely don't have any friends that have a computer that isn't a mac (I know...).

Any other options available?
