BSOD with AMD catalyst driver 15.7

Hey everyone,

Just tried updating to the new AMD catalyst 15.7 driver and half way through installation I got the BSOD. Any ideas as to why? Has anyone else experienced this problem? My computer runs fine usually.

I have: Windows 7, AMD FX8350 (OC 4.5Ghz), AMD R9 290, 8gb Ram, Corsair H80i GT cooler, Corsair 750w PSU.

I'm having the same issue trying to update to 15.7. It get a black screen right after it updates the display driver. My monitor is getting a signal, but there's no picture. I have to do a system restore to get it back. So I guess I'm stuck at 14.5 for now.

I just got the exact same thing. Finally decided to update my drivers to 15.7. While it was updating I stepped away for a bit and when I came back, I had a BSOD and it never installed.

I had the same problem i installed the 15.7.something, i was runing on windows 7 ultimate64, then after opening pes 2015 for 15 minutes i've got a bsod with an error that says atikmpag.sys. I tried everything like expanding some atikmpag.sys , it just crashed even if i'm not playing games it crashed after a while :eek: it's so frustrating i even installed windows 8.1 still same thing so the solution that worked for me is uninstalling all ati drivers and downgrading to an older version whish worked perfectly for me i hope it will work for you
