I'm super confused about this. I'm trying to create NAS with DD-WRT such that i can have various files as well as various users, each user with certain permissions. Some files will be accessible only to certain users. This was pretty straightforward with the custom firmware of my Linksys E3000 but with DD-WRT i find it very confusing. MY firmware version is DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/24/10) big and the interface for the NAS is the image attached to this post. Please how do i achieve this?

I've formatted my hard drive to three partitions: Optware(ext3), Swap(linux-swap) and Data(ext3).

I don't know enough about this to really help, so I wasn't going to answer. Since no one else did, I'll try to be a little helpful.

You might need to specify the partition(s) you're trying to share. That would be something like /mnt/sda1 or /mnt/sda2 or something like that, depending on what the ext3 partitions are named by the DD-WRT firmware (sda1 and similar names are what I've seen in other Linux based systems). Maybe it can be done like /mnt/data if the firmware recognizes the names you gave them, I don't know.

I don't know what to do for the users.

I'll read up on it and see if I can find what you need.
