I recently bought a new gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 motherboard and an amd fx 8370 black edition CPU. Upon putting the CPU In the motherboard and hooking everything up, bios for the new motherboard flashed and then the windows logo said windows 7 was starting. However, it showed me a "windows error recovery" screen and recommended I launch startup repair. The startup repair says it cannot fix the problems.
In bios, by ssd (which has windows on in) is showing up and is in by #1 boot priority. I even disconnected the other drive and my disc reader and it still will not boot. When the win7 logo pops up, it flashes a blue screen so fast that I cannot read it and then it brings me to the "wibdows error recovery"
The only thing I can image would be the problem is something with my CPU or mobo. The thing is, the CPU is represented in bios, so,,do not think it is defective. My mobo has not been updated since I got it.
