Hey all,

It's my first time building a pc but I've ran into some errors with pcpartpicker.

This is the build I am considering, however there were a few compatibility notes.
http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/k4GsQ7

1) "ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports."

The Case shows that it has 2x 2.0 USB ports in the front panel, and the MB also has 2.0 USB ports, I was wondering how important it was to utilize the 3.0 ports?

2) "The Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 390mm long, but video cards over 270mm may block drive bays. Since the Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 3GB WINDFORCE Video Card is 284mm long, some drive bays may not be usable."

I was wondering if anyone knows how many drive bays will be unusable? How important will the unusable drive bays be? I don't plan on adding any other features other than the ones already listed in the link above.

Thank you very much!!

1/ if you dont want/ need front USB3 ports that is absolutely fine

2/ the drive bays are for hard drives . Most people only use one or two anyway .

Looks like you lose spots for 4 hard drives and have space for at least 2 more in the bottom drive cage .

There is an update to the HAF 912 that does have USB3 ports on the front . It would cost a little more .

1) Am I able to still connect them, or will it not be compatible?

2) Since I would only be using 1 hard drive, it should all be good?

Do you have a link to the updated HAF912 by any chance?

Thank you very much!!
