Help choosing a laptop decent enough for gaming, not high budget.

I was going to build a PC. Though due to complications, I can't yet. I've been advised to buy a laptop, but I like playing games, and I don't understand laptops, they seem different to me than a desktop PC, so I don't know which to choose.

I've been looking at some, and the one I fought that is most appealing (in price and components) was the Dell Inspiron 5749
Intel Core i5 5200U
8GB RAM
1 TB Storage
17.3" screen (1600x900)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M‏

Now, the games that I wish to run (at decent speed, not going for the 60+ FPS, but around 30-40+) are:
Mass Effect Trilogy
Skyrim (+Mods - Not really graphic enhancements)
Fallout 3/New Vegas (+Mods)
Fallout 4
Dragon Age: Origins/2/Inquisition (And Inquisition it's like... When I push it, but can still run at... Med settings maybe. Maybe less.)

I would ask you not to heed the advice of buying a laptop.
Building a PC is simple (and fun). All those games with mods do require a lot of graphical horse power which the laptop in question can't provide. Whatever the complications, get over them. You would certainly be getting more value for your money by spending it on a desktop PC.
